A beautiful sunday in Wyoming. I had a great ski day with Elise including a lucky run with my Uncle. Then a good session shoveling and dragging my car out of the snowbank at the bottom of my driveway. Thanks to Kitty Resor who pulled me out I was able to make it to hot yoga and back home to end the day with my new favorite thing. Breakfast for dinner. It has started to become a ritual for our team to do this on the road and I am taking it home with me. Yumminess that just can’t be beat after a great wyoming winter day.

Happy days, toes in the sand, soft ocean water on my legs, Vitamin D, unwind, drink in life, the sweet touch of laughter, lightning storm shows, Paradise with a kiss.

The thing you wish for the most, work for the hardest and always go for! The big win. Congrats to Ted for such an impressive, inspirational day! If this doesn’t motivate you to do your best and live every moment to the fullest I don’t know what will! It was really a treat to be able to be around the whole team with some really good happy energy! Way to go USA!

I took a couple shots of our first days getting settled into Garmisch. Nice to be with the whole team. Belting out purple rain, beef burgers, dark chocolate, giggles, testosterone, games, french toast and bacon for dinner, sweet potatoes, Lemonade, driving in Audis, unique personalities, training, pushing each other yelling at each other, telling stories, endless hard drive swapping, new movies, new shows, new cloths, new magazines, new energy, happy energy. Laugher makes my mind happy. I love my life, my travels and the people in it. I could say it a hundred times. We only have life to live so we must live it with a smile on our faces! Purple Rain Purple Rain

Last couple weeks have been fun, traveling around, doing some FIS races, training with the team/camping family. Some fun photos and cool places. Now we are settled into Garmisch and ready for the big Race this weekend. Its nice to be around the whole team and have more than one person to hang out with. I like the energy and the amazing food that we get to have. Adam is back on the program and even found me some Gluten Free Beer. I had chicken, spinach, avocado, bean tacos and a beer for lunch. Best lunch yet this year!

Life is Good. A few fun days of Sauna, baths, treats, home cooked food, champagne, fur, feathers, thai green curry and playing dress up!

So I killed the first run the other day which was pretty nice. Always good to finally get a result to let yourself know that you are doing the right things. I love zwiesel, the hill anyways. After being stuck here for 4 days now Im kinda over it. I went shopping at the crystal glass factory and bought way to many glasses, not sure how Im going to get those home, but they are so nice and the best quality and cheap! We had to wait for the GS to get going. Bad weather so we were on hold. Now they seem to be getting it going. So I was the lucky one who got to take care of Lasse.
He has been great, he woke up a little confused and grumpy. The whole explaining to a 3 year old what your parents are doing is not that easy. He’s very smart so he understands but I didn’t want him to freak out. Breakfast is always a joy, trying to figure out what a kid likes and what a kid wants and what a kid needs. Very different things. I made sure he had enough in him so he could have a lot of energy for his training.
His training are these blocks we set up ( thanks to sarah we are on a super early age training program) and he skis around the blocks getting faster and faster. I introduced an inspection run to him and he really liked that. Right when I was about to race him, he’s on top of the slide and ready to go. Three Two One. Poop Poop Poop Poop. Oh Sh*t. Ok Lasse lets go, I grab him and we are off. This is how it goes
Resi: Do we need to run
Lasse; No No
Lasse:( after walking a few feet) OK OK we need to run
Resi: Can you hold it, you going to make it
Lasse; Hurry hurry run faster
Resi: ( totally panic ) ok almost there almost there….
feeewwwww made it. Ok Lasse do your thing let me know how it goes.
I left lasse to do is thing, he is a very advanced 3 year old. After about 10 min of listening to him push and poop and re sight about half of the CARS movie It was about time to get off.
Lasse: Resi I need to wash my hands really well. Mom says its important!
Adorable little Lasse he was on it. Things went a lot better than I expected. Now back to the race course.
After about 100 runsin his course I had to convince him we should watch the men race the GS. I also needed a break and realized why parents drink coffee. He was hungry again and so I went to get apple juice, a pretzel and me a coffee. Now of course apple juice wasn’t enough and he wanted hot chocolate. So I know that his mother does let him have hot chocolate so I decided he could have a little bit, since he was so good. This lead to a burst of energy during the mens GS so I had to take breaks to run his course a few times. We painted we raced we played and we drank tea and ate and we had a lot of fun. Then right before mom was going on TV he passed out cold. Im not sure if its to early for him to take his nap but he is snoring right now.
Its so much fun to play with him. He is a fire bolt and really smart and keeps us young! Thanks Lasse for a fun day!

We are in Zweisel Germany. Not sure I spelled it right. This place has been a good place for me in the past with the best trophies I have seen! We had a great week back in Europe training and getting our feet under us. Now we are ready to do some racing. Slalom was bumped up a day so we go tomorrow on my MOMS BIRTHDAY! She was here last time I was here and I killed it so Ill be thinking about her. As well as my brother. We seem to ski pretty fast when we race on the same day. He is racing in Turkey and has already done some insane skiing. Don’t know many kids that can go from 87th to 11th. Awesome. Resting up today while everyone else was out skiing. I have been sick for almost a month now. I have had a bad sore throat for most of the time and two major head colds that wipe me out. Kind of a bummer since I eat really healthy and Im usually pretty healthy. Not sure if its from all the travel, being back with the team on the road all the time. Coming from being a little beach babe for three years to cold stressful constant movement and not much rest. Who knows, could also be the fact that Im allergic to everything and my immune system is on full gas constantly so it might need a break. Whatever it is I am trying to kick it with sleep and rest. blah blah blah want it to be gone!!!!!!! At least I feel great when Im out skiing. Wind in my lungs and face and ready for a fun day! So good luck and Happy birthday!
