Man if feels good to see my name on the start list and finish list. Even if its not number one I am totally stoked! Its unreal what this last week has felt like. So fun, scary, nervous but really really happy. I raced more than I have in the last three years in just three days. I could barely get out of bed this morning I was so tired. Traveling for skiing is tough, race after race with no break and moving a lot. Im really excited to have a week off to get super organized, rested and have a few more work outs under my belt so that I can rip it up the rest of the season!

So it was an awesome weekend and I had so much fun! I can’t wait to share with you. I am racing so much, we had to race IN loveland today and I did well my first run and totally sucked my second but thats ok I have tomorrow as well. Just good to be racing again and doing more than I have in three years which seems crazy! well Ill have photos and stories up soon!
I hope you all have a wonderful day! I am so thankful for my amazing team and amazing family! It has been a long road and its be fun! We got to eat turkey early. It was so good, thank you Adam!!!!!!!

Are you ready for Aspen?? I sure hope so. If not maybe these shots Hailey Duke took will help out. We were out wandering the streets of Aspen and ran into this cute place which had of course the most perfect and awesome hat I have ever come across. It was just to good to pass up. If you are in Aspen this weekend or any other snowy weekend this winter stop into Kali’s Denim and check it out! Hailey took some shots to show you what this hat has to offer! To see more of Hailey check out her website haileyduke.com or facebook her! Enjoy your empty belly….. bring on the turkey!

If you can’t find any of the pictures from my last blogs its because I deleted them. I didn’t mean to do it but I pressed, yes please I am an idiot and would love all my hard blog work to be erased. So no photos from the other blog posts. To much work with internet being so sketchy. So here we go, brand new start.
I have a couple days off after our hard training in Aspen. My leg feels better with a whole day in bed watching Harry Potter one and two. I am going to watch all 7 but it might take me a while.
I am also reorganizing for the millionth time this trip. Trying to cut out stuff for the next trip so we don’t get charged for overweight. I also got a little motivation after an eggnog Latte at 5 to take photos of Sexy Mama Sarita. I realized what an inspiration this women is for every women in the world. She is one strong girl and has been a hero of mine forever and will always be a sister. I hope I look as good as her when Im 31 and especially if I pop out a baby! Dang girl! I hope everyone had a splendid weekend!
OH I almost forgot I have a new lucky hat! Hope you like it as much as I do. I could do everything in this thing!

Aspen is amazing! This place is so fun. I love it here, the snow is great, the weather is spectacular and the vib is sick sick! This is one of my favorite places to ski. My favorite GS but that will have to come next year. Skiing was really hard for me. Full length and a lot of terrain but I powered through some runs. My leg hurt for the first time in a while which was not that sweet. I think it hurt more from the chair lift not having a bar. My leg rests and falls right on my femur in the not so sweet spot. I toned it down with the runs and just went with feeling. Keeping forward is the most important thing for me! I want to rip it, I know I can so I will. It starts as a dream, you must dream. Then it becomes part of your heart. Your heart craves it and pumps for it. Then all you have to do is; Do IT. Ha ha I love it. Its that simple.

Well I got to race, well forerun today and I won! He he well actually Sarah won the race but I beat her. Ha ha I know she is going to read this and get fired up. The point. We had a great day. Its been almost one year and I skied and ripped Copper up. We had a bunch of new snow which made it way more fun and Sarah and I dominated which gave us a little more confidence and shows us that our little team is doing the right thing. Now some more top secret training and we will be racing in no time. Till then enjoy these lovely men and there movemberness!

Wow I am getting Old! But strangely I feel much younger. I do feel more mature and focused which I am sure everyone has been waiting for! I have endless energy to keep living life to the fullest and that makes me really happy.
After some time off and an amazing birthday week with family and friends I feel ready for the next block of skiing. We are back in Vail. Its just me at the moment because everyone else is resting from Levi. It is snowing so I hope to get some good powder runs in today. We have some intense training coming up and I need to really use ever run and think about things and really start to dial it all in. We race in less than two weeks so I gotta get it together if I want to start!
Tomorrow is a practice day for me. Let me tell you its going to be hard. Within a few days of Last years events I have to do the Practice day in Copper where I broke my leg. Most dreaded place to go ski but I guess maybe its fate to have to ski there so that mentally I work through this. The girls will be racing and I will be forerunning. I love forerunning especially because it gives you that intensity and you can go through the motions but not feel pressure of having to do well! So Send me some luck this week and Ill keep working hard and plugging away!
Thanks to everyone who wished me Happy Birthday! It was a good one!

Its time to start posting some good Movemberness! I love this time of the year! Here are some good ones that might have had a little head start I think! he he

It was a bit of tough love this week in Vail. I had to really step it up. Went from little tikes to big league real fast. It was full length and injected ice so I had to really focus. I ended up skiing 5 days of slalom with around 4 runs of full length a day. I really struggled with the fine line of trying to race and be fast and trying to tone it down and stay focused on where I need to be which is working on my skills. Watching all the big kids gets me so excited I just get in the gate and want to go. But I have some work to do. I also had some good fights mentally, with one good cry on the chair life, I think I made progress. Its so difficult sometimes but I just need to be patient and relax. Know that it will come.
As for the awesomeness, its my birthday week and I have had the best presents already delivered. Kevin got me a sick sick camera. I must have been taking really bad shots because he got me the new G12 which is so cool I have been shooting away and everything looks so beautiful. Then I had dinner with my brother and he got me the new bobble water bottle that I had been eyeing and he didn’t even know. He just guessed I would like something like that since I am such a water snob. I hate everyones water, it makes me sick. Im just so lucky to have been born in a place with such amazing water. I think that might be my calling. Designing awesome water for people so they have energy like me!
Now as everyone heads up to Finland for the world cup I am at home resting. My first week of in about a year. It feels amazing and I haven’t even really relaxed yet. I am so in love with my home. This is perfect before the season really takes off!
I hope everyone is having an awesome day!
